A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a crash at an exit on the M50 in Dublin.
The man was rushed to hospital after crashing while merging off the ramp at Junction 5 heading southbound.
Gardai are investigating the incident and have appealed for witnesses and road users with dash cam footage to come forward.
Two lanes remain open between Junction 5 and 6, but there is heavy traffic in the area.
A spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating a serious road traffic collision that occurred at the merging of the off ramp and M50 at Junction 5 Southbound on 19/11/2019 at approximately 7:45am.


"A motorcyclist, a man age currently unknown, has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.
"Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, particularly any road users who may have dash cam footage, to contact Finglas Garda Station on 01 666 7500 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111."
