A motorcyclist was hurt following a dramatic smash in Salford tonight.
Police and paramedics were called to the crash on Leigh Road in Boothstown at 7.14pm tonight after a Toyota and a Kawasaki motorbike collided near the junction with Ellenbrook Road.
The road was cordoned off while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
The male motorcyclist was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
His condition was not thought to be life-threatening.

Residents reported hearing a loud bang before seeing the seriously damaged bike and car.
An ambulance was said to be quickly on the scene as it was treating another patient very close by.
The driver of the Toyota was able to get out of his car and appeared to be unhurt although in shock, according to one eye-witness.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle on Leigh Road at around 7.14pm.
One person had been hurt although their injuries 'are not thought to be life-threatening at this stage', he added.
He confirmed officers remained at the scene.

A cordon was still in place just before 9pm.
