A motorcyclist has died following a serious crash on a Glasgow motorway yesterday afternoon.
The 45-year-old man died following the collision between the black Honda motorbike he was driving and a black Audi A4.
The incident happened around 3pm at the Ballieston Interchange, with police and emergency services racing to the scene. The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland are now appealing for witnesses following the crash.
Sergeant Roy McCarney, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of the motorcyclist who died at this difficult time.
“We are carrying out extensive investigations into the incident and we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened who has not already spoken to officers.
“In particular we would like to speak to anyone who may have dash-cam footage that could help with our enquiries to get in touch.
"Anyone who can help our investigation is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2666 of Saturday, 30 May, 2020.”
