Motorcyclist dies after hitting stone wall in Ballymacarbry, Co Waterford

A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a stone wall.

Gardai are investigating the fatal collision, which happened at around 11.40 today, Sunday March 22 at Seapark, Ballymacarbry, Co Waterford.

A Garda spokesperson said that from initial investigations, it appears that the man, in his 30s, collided with a stone wall and that no other people were involved.

The road has been closed for a technical examination by a Garda forensic team.

Gardai are appealing for anyone with information, particularly any road users who travelled in the area and may have dash cam footage, to contact Dungarvan Garda Station on 058 48600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
