A motorcyclist has died following a crash on the M5/M4 interchange this morning (October 29).
A car and motorbike were involved in the crash, which took place at around 6.30am.
The road was closed as police and ambulance crews attended.
Three people were taken to hospital and police have now confirmed the motorcyclist died at the scene shortly after the crash.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "The motorway was closed to allow collision investigators to examine the scene. It has since re-opened.
"We’re appealing for witnesses to the incident and would particularly like to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage.

"A man has been arrested in connected with the incident and remains in police custody."
