Motorcyclist, 54, named after fatal crash

A motorcyclist who died after a crash on Good Friday has been named by police.

Bruce Allen, 54, from Chepstow, died at the scene of the crash on the A466 near Tintern. The collision involved a motorcyclist and a van and took place shortly before 11.30am on Friday, April 2.

Mr Allen's family are being supported by specially trained officers, according to Gwent Police.

The force said it was continuing to investigate the crash and and appealed for anyone with information who had not yet spoken with officers to get in touch.
