Police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist died in a crash in Merthyr Tydfil.
His red Kawasaki motorbike was involved in a crash with a black Ford Focus car.
It happened on the Gurnos Ring Road at its junction with Goitre Lane, Gurnos, Methyr Tydfil, at around 6.10pm on Sunday, August 30.
South Wales Police said that the 42-year-old male rider of the motorcycle died and his family are being supported by a specially trained liaison officer.
The road was closed for several hours as emergency service teams worked at the scene and the air ambulance landed at the scene.
A spokeswoman said: "Officers wish to thank members of the public who assisted at scene and for their patience during the road closures.
