A 26-year-old man has died at the scene of a crash in Caerphilly borough.
Owen Carey Thomas, from Gilfach, was riding his motorbike on Thursday, June 3, at around 8.45pm when it collided with a car.
A 39-year-old woman from Caerphilly has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and remains in police custody. Gwent Police is appealing for witnesses following the fatal collision which happened at Park Place in Gilfach.
A statement from Gwent Police reads: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, who has not yet spoken with officers, to get in contact. Any motorists who may have any dash-cam footage of the area at the time of the collision are also urged to come forward.
