Regarded as the world's largest motorcycle show, EICMA wrapped up last week with a record attendance of more than 600,000 visitors. From November 4th to 10th, the Fiera Milano Rho convention center outside of Milan, Italy played host to some 730 exhibitors from 50 countries, with more than 2,000 brands in total showing off their wares.
From electric scooters and Dakar bikes both past and present, to MotoGP machines fresh off the track and the latest from almost every OEM in the industry, EICMA was at an all-time high in 2025.
And according to a report on Visordown, it wasn’t just brands that showed up at EICMA this year – apparently, “more than 43,000 industry professionals from 167 countries attended the B2B days, a 28% increase in international operators compared to 2024.” There were also 8,200 journalists, photographers, and content creators from 67 countries in attendance as well.
I attended EICMA a few years ago while on a motorcycle trip around Italy. It was madness. The sheer number of motorcycles on the show floor was astonishing, but what really struck me was the crowd in attendance. It reminded me of the International Motorcycle Shows (IMS) that used to take place in major cities across the US. During a time when new models may have been leaked on the internet months in advance, people were still keen to put their eyes on the latest in person, throw a leg over the newest superbike, meet some notable people in the industry, or just soak in the ambiance of a convention center filled with like-minded motorcyclists. EICMA was all of that, and more.
EICMA President, Pietro Meda, said this year’s event showcased “the full consecration of the transition from trade fair to global and attractive exhibition event.” That’s PR speak for ‘EICMA isn’t just an industry show anymore, but more of a festival for motorcycle enthusiasts.’ This is evidenced by the show not only being a place where OEMs can introduce new models, but also a gathering ground for enthusiasts, both inside the industry and out, to share their love for all things two-wheeled.
Next year’s show is slated for November 3-8, 2026, at Fiera Milano Rho.
