A motorcycle rider was hospitalised after a collision with a motor vehicle in Belmont on Saturday night.
The incident occurred on Walter Street near the Gunyah Hotel shortly after 10pm.
The man suffered injuries to his legs and pelvis.
"A man believed to be in his 20s was struck and taken in a stable condition to John Hunter Hospital," a NSW Ambulance spokesman said on Sunday.
Three ambulances attended the scene, the spokesman said.
Lake Macquarie Police has been contacted for comment.
