A 46-year-old man sustained serious injuries to his arm in a crash on the M56 yesterday.
The man, from Warrington, was driving a Green Kawasaki motorbike when involved in a crash with a 21-year-old woman, from Birkenhead, driving a white Vauxhall Viva.
Emergency services attended the scene on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 11 and 12, at around 8.20pm on Thursday, July 15.

Police closed part of the road while dealing with the incident and then reopened it at 10.20pm after the man was taken to hospital.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 8.20pm on Thursday 15 July police attended reports of a collision on the M56 in Cheshire.
"The incident, on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 11 and 12, involved a car (white Vauxhall Viva) and a motorbike (Green Kawasaki).
"The rider of the motorbike, a 46, year-old man from Warrington, sustained serious injuries to his arm and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
"The driver of the car, a 21-year-old woman from Birkenhead, was uninjured."
