Motorbike rider dies after hitting tree near Goulburn

A man has died after his motorcycle left the road and hit a tree south of Goulburn on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Cullulla Road at Tarago, 40km south of Goulburn, about 12.15pm on February 7, and found the rider critically injured.

A doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics were airlifted to the scene, however, the man - believed to be about 46 years old - died at the scene.

Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash. are underway.
