MotoGP's newest star, Miguel Oliveira, has opened up on his plans to marry his step-sister.
Oliveira, 25, claimed his first ever MotoGP race win in dramatic circumstances with a last bend overtake at the Styrian Grand Prix last month.
The biggest win of his career so far made amends for the rising star being forced to postpone his wedding to Andreia Pimenta due to the rearranged season.
According to Marca, Oliveira met Pimenta as a teenager when his father married her mother.
The pair became step-siblings but soon connected and kept their blossoming romance secret for a number of years.
After going public years later, Oliveira proposed last July and their engagement was announced on Instagram.
Pimenta posted: “Today was marked forever in my life. The answer was YES.”
Portuguese star Oliveira has discussed their romance and marriage plans on TV in his home country.
“Before love there was a great friendship. We grew up together,” he recently told Manuel Luís Goucha on Portuguese TV.
“At some point we realised that it was more than a friendship, it is a very strong love.
“We were going to get married this year, but that weekend I had a race and we had to postpone it to next year."

His father, Paulo Oliveira, told Spanish newspaper Marca he has given the couple his blessing, saying: “I’m happy that my son is getting married to the woman of his life."
Oliveira moved into MotoGP's top class last year and had a best result of eighth place.
But he has kicked-on during his second season, winning his first race and currently sitting ninth in the World Championship standings.
