Motherwell boss Graham Alexander bristled at the thought of Ross County having 'come out of a run of difficult games' and aims to prove that they're still in it.
Alexander says he wouldn't like to think of his side being looked upon as one of the easier games in the Premiership calendar, and says his players are well aware of the perceived slight.
Ross County visit Fir Park tomorrow looking for points to climb the table, while Motherwell could potentially go top, should results go their way.
And Alexander wants to make sure everybody knows they're no soft touches.
He said: "I've seen it being said about [them having] all those tough fixtures, and now it's not - well, hopefully it will continue.
"I don't want to think that we're pooled in with a group of teams that people think they should beat, so for me, our challenge is to go and show that we're one of those tough fixtures as well, and that's what I want my players to show tomorrow
"I've just heard it from different sources, where they've had 'tough fixtures'. I believe we've had tough fixtures, I think every team has in this league - that's the reality.
"It's not a 24-team league where there's teams cut off at the bottom, it's so competitive.
"For me, I don't see tough and easy fixtures, but if we're getting chucked in with potentially easy fixtures then that burns a little bit."
Motherwell go into tomorrow's clash two points off the Premiership summit, while County are looking for their first league win, but Alexander says the focus remains the same.
He said: "We approach every game in the same way. As I said before the Rangers game, we didn't build it up too much, and we're not going to take our eye off the ball tomorrow either, because we're in the Premiership.
"There are 12 good teams, full of Premiership players with top quality coaches, and if we're not at our best and not focused we give the opponent a better chance of beating us, and we don't want that to happen.
"Our focus is the main thing we have to get right every single week, regardless of who we're playing. If we don't approach it in the right way and get our performance right, then we're wasting our time working so hard.
"I think we've got good players in that group - senior players, experienced players and motivated players - who will make sure we're on it tomorrow."
