It's been a turbulent week for Premiership clubs but football will finally be the main talking point when Motherwell host Livingston in the Steelmen's final league match of 2021.
First minister Nicola Sturgeon's announcement of crowds being limited to 500 fans has sent shockwaves around Scottish football and the winter break has been brought forward.
But that won't happen before Motherwell's clash with Livi and only a lucky few will get to watch Graham Alexander's side this week before a three-week shutdown.
The spread of the Omicron variant of Covid 19 has proven costly for Scottish football but the Steelmen will be keen to end 2021 on a high.
After a comfortable 2-0 win over St Johnstone last weekend, Alexander's men occupy the Premiership's fourth spot, and will be keen to retain that position.
The game takes place on Boxing Day with a 3pm kick-off and season ticket holders are asked to enter a ballot for the Livingston match. It will close at 1pm on Thursday.
Season ticket holders who aren't successful in the ballot can watch a live stream of the match at no extra cost.
Fans of both clubs can buy a live stream of the game from MFC TV for £12.
Man in the middle

Don Robertson officiates this game with Dougie Potter and Graeme Stewart as his assistants. Graham Grainger is the fourth official.
Robertson was referee for Motherwell's November win at Aberdeen and dished out eight bookings.
