Motherwell Utility Man's Polish Adventure - Lanarkshire Live Sport Podcast #6

Outside of one year at Dundee between 2016-17, Tom Hateley has been abroad playing his football since 2014 - and he doesn't see himself coming back any time soon.

The 32-year-old arrived in Scottish football when Motherwell took him to Lanarkshire back in 2009, and has since featured in Poland and Cyprus.

Slask Wroclaw started his Polish journey and he's also had two spells at current club Piast Gliwice, where he won the Ekstraklasa in 2019.

Arriving in Scotland as the son of Rangers legend Mark, the midfielder knew the obvious comparison would be there, but he's his own man.

His horizons have been broadened by his European experiences and he's got some interesting thoughts on what might come next when he hangs up the boots.

For now, Hateley is aiming to get back to European football, something he experienced season after season with Motherwell during a four-year stay.

The 32-year-old explains it all on the sixth episode of the Lanarkshire Live Sport Podcast.
