Motherwell urge fans to donate to annual food bank collection

Motherwell have urged supporters to dig deep and contribute to their food bank collection ahead of the Premiership match against St Mirren on December 12.

The club are opening a collection point at Fir Park for the town's Basics Food Bank, which will be in operation at the Davie Cooper Stand on Thursday and Friday, December 10 and 11, from 3pm to 7pm, and on Saturday, December 12, from 9am until 1pm.

Items which are in particular demand include potatoes, carrots, sweetcorn, meat, tuna, hot dogs and baked beans (all tinned), savoury rice, Super Noodles and UHT Longlife semi-skimmed milk.

Stewards will direct supporters on arrival at the Davie Cooper Stand to drop donations off inside the stadium.
