Motherwell target more players ahead of transfer window closure

Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson is reportedly keen on the return of striker Devante Cole as he bolsters his squad for the season.

Robinson is also said to be keen to bring a goalkeeper in as competition for Trevor Carson, with Scott Fox out for the season with a knee injury.

It has been reported that the Fir Park club may let youth players head out on loan, with defender Yusuf Hussain believed to be on the verge of a move to Airdrie.

Cole, the son of former England and Manchester United hero Andy, was on loan from Wigan last season, but terminated that deal in January for a permanent move to Doncaster Rovers.

That move doesn't appear to have worked as well as the 25-year-old had hoped, which has alerted Motherwell.
