Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull has had successful surgery on the knee injury that stopped his club record Celtic move in its tracks.
The 19-year-old underwent an operation to tackle a cartilage issue that showed up on a precautionary CT scan as part of his Hoops medical.
And the talented Wishaw lad shared a picture on social media with the caption: "Surgery went well, time to recover."
Turnbull is expected to be out for anything between three and six months as he fights his way back to full fitness.
Motherwell have stated that they will stick by the youngster after his Celtic move collapsed.
