Motherwell supporters generously donate to provide free season tickets to unemployed and low-income families

Motherwell supporters have generously donated £58,155 to help provide season tickets to the unemployed and low-income families.

The Steelmen launched the 'Well In' scheme to provide season tickets to those that are prevented from attending Fir Park due to financial barriers.

Motherwell Football Club are renowned for the brilliant work they carry out within the local community, especially during difficult times that bring economic challenges - like the pandemic.

'Well supporters have rallied together to raise a fantastic amount of money, which will be matched by the club to make season tickets available to the local community.

Football can provide a sense of escapism from everyday life and Motherwell hope this scheme will make a positive difference within the community.

The Fir Park faithful will return to their beloved stadium for the first time in over a year against Queen of the South on Saturday, July 17.

The Scheme is still open and people can still donate. Go to donate.motherwellfc.co.uk and give what you can, or call us on 01698 333333.
