Motherwell sign Robbie Crawford on permanent deal

Motherwell have completed their first piece of deadline day business with the announcement Robbie Crawford has extended his stay at Fir Park until the end of the season.

The midfielder joined the Steelmen on loan from Premiership rivals Livingston in September, but he has this morning completed a permanent move to Lanarkshire.

'Well boss Graham Alexander told the club website: “We’re happy Robbie is staying on with us.

“He has shown he has the attributes to be a valuable member of our squad. He adds quality to the group and will be important for us in the coming months.”

It's expected this won't be the last news out of Fir park on deadline day with chief executive Alan Burrows hintping this morning that "one or two" new signings will come in over the course of the day.
