Motherwell have completed the signing of former Scunthorpe striker Kevin Van Veen.
The 30-year-old played under 'Well boss Graham Alexander at the Irons and he scored 41 goals in 183 games across two spells at the English side.
The Dutch striker cost Scunthorpe £100,000 when he returned from Northampton in 2019 and Van Veen also registered 20 assists during his time at the Irons.
Alexander has already recruited Connor Shields and Kane Woolery in attacking areas but Van Veen offers a different option as a more traditional number nine.
After joining the Steelmen in January, Alexander preferred to play a 4-3-3 formation with one striker and Tony Watt also prefers playing centrally, so the Well boss now has good options in attack.
'Well boss Alexander said: “Kevin’s a player I know very well from my time in England and I’m delighted to bring him up to Motherwell.

“He’s made a great impression on the other players while training with us.
“His ability on the ball and to score goals is something that we will all benefit from.
“I know how excited he is about this challenge, and we’re just as happy to have him. I am certain he can help achieve success.”
