Motherwell Police Station was evacuated on Thursday afternoon after a suspicious package was received.

Police Scotland confirmed officers and staff were removed from the building at around 12.15pm on Thursday, November 12.

Nearby roads surrounding the office on Windmillhill Street were also closed off to the public and traffic while the incident was investigated.
