Liam Kelly says Motherwell spoiled youngster Max Johnston's full first team debut by not turning up against St Johnstone on Saturday.
The Fir Park goalkeeper says everyone in the squad let the 17-year-old down as he made his first start during the 3-0 defeat.

That followed his senior debut from the bench the previous week in a 4-1 Lanarkshire derby thrashing.
And Kelly said: "We let him down.
"You want his full debut to be a game to look back on, a game of good memories, but Max wasn't the problem [against Saints].
"He was one of the only ones with pass marks in my opinion.

"He done really well and unfortunately we let him down.
"David Wotherspoon is one of the most experienced and best wingers in the league, and he kept him very quiet.
"But for the rest of us, myself included, we were nowhere near the level required."
