Motherwell open fan ballot for Premier Sports Cup tickets

Motherwell will welcome fans back to Fir Park for the first time since the pandemic hit - with 2,000 supporters permitted into next weekend's Premier Sports Cup clash with Queen of the South.

The Steelmen aren't in competitive action this weekend as the idle side in the five-team Group F - they face Millwall in a friendly on Saturday though - but preparations are underway to ensure fans can see their team in the flesh once again.

A ballot is currently open for supporters to apply for the available tickets to take in the Queens clash and a home tie with Annan the following week, July 24.

The club are giving priority to 2020/21 and 2021/22 season ticket holders, with briefs priced at £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.

And they state that "fans will be required to enter a ballot process that will cover both games."

Fans of clubs like Hamilton and Motherwell will be able to see games next season thanks to the new deal (SNS Group)

The ballot will close at 11pm on Sunday and successful applicants will receive an email on Monday regarding the outcome.

For more information, fans should head to the Motherwell website.
