Motherwell new boy Justin Amaluzor "hungry to succeed"

Motherwell boss Graham Alexander has sealed his second summer signing and insists Justin Amaluzor is hungry to succeed at Fir Park.

The 24-year-old was unveiled as the Steelmen's newest recruit last night, following last month's arrival of striker Connor Shields from Queen of the South.

And the one-year deal for Amaluzor comes after the former Luton Town youth player spent time training with the club towards the end of last season's Scottish Premiership campaign.

Alexander knows what he is getting from the winger/forward, who most recently played in the National League in England with Maidstone United, scoring seven goals in 23 league matches in 2019/20 campaign, as netting twice in 10 starts in last season's curtailed term.

The 'Well gaffer told Motherwell's official website: "Justin came in to train with us last season and immediately impressed us all with his enthusiasm and attacking ability.

“He’s hungry to succeed and we’re delighted to bring him in.

“We’re sure he’ll take this opportunity and be a valuable asset to our team.”

Motherwell returned for pre-season training on Monday and are gearing up for their first competitive clash of the season on July 14 when the travel to Queen's Park in the Premier Sports Cup.
