Motherwell midfielder signs new deal

Motherwell midfielder Robbie Crawford is the latest Fir Park star to sign a contract extension, keeping him at the club until the end of next season.

The former Livingston star follows defender Bevis Mugabi, who has agreed a similar deal.

Crawford, 26, initially came in on loan from Livingston, but that became permanent in January and he has now signed for 2021-22.

Manager Graham Alexander told the club's website: "Robbie has been an integral part of the team since we came in.

"He has proven he has the ability, commitment and character to continue his form with us.

"We’re very happy he’s agreed to stay and we feel it’s another positive step in our plan for the future."
