A Motherwell man who threatened to kill his ex-partner was later found with a knife.
Matthew Goodfellow, 34, of Merry Street, appeared from custody at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week.
He admitted threatening or abusive behaviour towards the woman at a house in Dechmont
Avenue, Motherwell, on September 5.
Goodfellow also admitted having a knife in the town’s Watling Street on the same date, but an allegation that he was in illegal possession of a hammer was dropped.
Sheriff Daniel Kelly called for a criminal justice social work report and deferred sentence until October 20.
Goodfellow was released on bail.
