Motherwell have recalled Jamie Semple from his loan spell at Cove Rangers.

The highly-regarded midfield enjoyed an impressive spell at Paul Hartley's side, scoring one goal in nine appearances.

League One remains suspended until at least February 14th and with no competitive football on the horizon, the Steelmen have decided to recall the 19 year-old.

Semple has made a handful appearances for the Fir Park side and set up the winning goal for David Turbull on his debut against Dundee in 2019.
