Motherwell face SPFL Trust Trophy away day as Lanarkshire sides learn draw

Lanarkshire clubs learned their first and second-round opponents when the SPFL Trust Trophy draw was made this afternoon.

Motherwell's 'B' team were drawn against League Two side Stranraer at Stair Park, and Clyde are at Lowland League club Broomhill in the first round.

Queen's Park were drawn at home to Bonnyrigg Rose, and Lowland League favourites East Kilbride are at League One Falkirk.

Albion Rovers will visit Livingston B in the first round.

Hamilton and Airdrie come into the reckoning in the second round, with the Diamonds playing either Queen's Park or Bonnyrigg Rose, while Accies will host Edinburgh City or Hearts B.

Motherwell B or Stranraer will host Partick Thistle, and Clyde or Broomhill will travel to Queen of the South.

Should Albion Rovers get past Livingston B, they will face either St Mirren B or Kelty Hearts.

East Kilbride's reward for ousting Falkirk from the first round would be a trip to face Kilmarnock in the second round.

First round matches will take place on August 10 or 11, with the second round on September 4 and 5.
