Motherwell confirm Jordan White Ross County transfer on permanent deal

Motherwell have confirmed Jordan White has left the club to join Ross County.

The striker failed to score in 20 appearances for the Steelmen since his summer move from Inverness and has now returned to the Highland to join the Staggies on a permanent basis until the end of the season.

The move was on hold until after the sides met in Dingwall last night, where the Steelmen ran out 2-1 winners.

A Motherwell statement read: "We thank Jordan for his contributions and wish him well for the future."

Meanwhile, Ross County boss John Hughes was delighted to land the former Livingston and Falkirk forward.

He said: “Jordan comes to us with good experience and hunger.

"At 28 he will be one of the more experienced players in the group and can have a big part to play between now and the end of the season.”

“If you look at his career, he has scored goals but has also been a focal point for the teams he has played with and somebody that can offer something different to us.”
