A Motherwell café is celebrating its first year of trading today by delivering cake to customers.
Julia & Mac's Snacks have been open for 12 months now and have a number of special celebrations in mind to mark the occasion.
And that includes a slice of cake with every home delivery order and a raffle.
The Rose Street café in the north of the town was opened by owner Cameron Dalziel, who named the premises after his mum and dad.
Posting on Facebook today, Cameron said: "Julia & Macs Snacks was a new business venture for us.
"I came up with the thoughts while I was in Tenerife around 16 months ago.
"So we got stuck in and got our wee pitch all converted and set up. I named it after my mum and dad and we opened the doors on my dad's birthday on 8 July 2020.
"I took the chance to open the doors with good staff Nicole, Geraldine, Francis. Margo Lorraine, Kelly also our full-time delivery driver Jim each and every one of my staff has done us proud.
"We could not have done this without the most important people our precious and loyal customers. So to old and new customers a massive thank you guys, very much appreciated."
Over the last year, the shop has also taken part in a lot of charity work, such as sponsored Christmas meals, meals to those in need and recently donating £500 to the appeal for Jordan Banks, the young footballer killed in Blackpool by lightning.
