Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson says he will take the blame for Liam Polworth's error that led to Celtic's opener in yesterday's 4-1 defeat.
However, Robinson refused to criticise the midfielder and instead heaped praise on him for his overall display.
The Fir Park boss said: "Poly gives the ball away in the area, but that's my fault because I want the boys to be brave on the ball.
"If you want them to be brave on the ball you can't hammer them every time they give the ball away."We got punished for that one.

"But Poly shows great character after that and dominated the midfield at times, and was excellent.
"There's a lot of positives [to take] in terms of our play [overall]."
