Graham Alexander admits he's not enjoyed managing in empty stadiums and he hopes that Motherwell fans return soon.
Since his appointment as Motherwell boss in January, Alexander is yet to experience the backing of his supporters within Fir Park.
Fans returned in Scotland for the play-off games and with crowds expected for EUROs fixtures in Hampdens, there are promising signs that 'Well fans might be able to return next season.
Alexander is fully aware of the importance of the connection between fans, players and staff.
He told I nside Motherwell : "I'm looking at well over a year since I've managed a game with a crowd in. It's been strange and not a pleasant experience if I'm honest.
"I know that sometimes we can have difficulties with supporters when the results aren't right but the biggest thing about football is players, the supporters and the human element - the relationships that people create and have.

"Unfortunately, I've not been able to do that with the Motherwell supporters so far because they've not been able to attend the games.
"Hopefully, we've shown enough in the last three months or so that we are ambitious, we want to win games against every opponent and that we want to create a team that is good enough to take on anyone on their day.
"We will need, without a shadow of doubt, that support behind us. We have to create a team that the supporters believe in and they can get behind us and go onto good things."
