Motherwell have pulled out of the SPFL Trust Trophy this season, saying a lack of available players meant they couldn't field a 'B' team in the competition.
The move follows Livingston and Ross County, who have also withdrawn from the tournament.
A Club Academy Scotland under-18s game with Hamilton has also been scrapped for the same reason.
Motherwell, who were due to play Stranraer, said in a statement: "We are disappointed that the young players, many of whom are first-year pros, will not have the opportunity to take part in the game, due to injuries and Covid-19 issues."
Stranraer have been awarded a 3-0 win and will progress to play Partick Thistle in the second round of the competition next month.
