Motherwell and Hamilton points awards are being contested by St Mirren

St Mirren have confirmed they are appealing an SPFL tribunal decision that handed Motherwell and Hamilton Accies three Premiership points earlier this month.

On December 3, Saints were found to be in breach of Covid regulations and a match against Motherwell on October 17 and a crunch meeting with Accies on October 24 were both postponed, with each of the Lanarkshire sides awarded a 3-0 win and given three points.

Motherwell were also given a 3-0 win a three points after a match at Kilmarnock on October 2 was postponed after the hosts were unable to field a team, which Kilmarnock have also announced they will contest.
