Motherwell defender Declan Gallagher has accepted a FIFA20 challenge from Hamilton Accies after exiting the Ultimate Quaran-Team tournament.
The Scotland cap was playing out the clash against Grimsby, however the Steelmen were downed 4-1 by Bradley Garmston from the English League Two side last night.
Following the cup exit, the centre-back tweeted: "I'm sorry I feel like I've let the Motherwell fans down - but we are still the pride of Lanarkshire".
However, the New Douglas Park side have taken exception - and called for a derby day clash.
The defender accepted the challenge, but will we see a virtual battle for local bragging rights?
The New Douglas Park side play Dutch favourites Utrecht today as they look to make it to the third round.
