Mothercare launches huge baby and toddler clearance sale - with prices slashed by up to 85%

Mothercare has launched its eagerly-awaited summer sale - and shoppers can make some impressive savings.

The sale, which went live both online and in Mothercare stores earlier this week, includes discounts of up to 85% on clothing, toys, homeware, pushchairs and feeding utensils.

Amongst some of the most popular sale items are the adorable Peter Rabbit pieces, including this 3-pack of socks, which has been reduced from £5 to £2.50.

Other stylish clearance offerings include a blue polka dot dungarees set, which now costs £3 instead of £18.50 (that’s saving of 83%), and this blue ditsy smock dress and bloomer set, which has been reduced from £22 to £3 (a saving of 85%).

To keep babies warm and cosy, this soft fleece moses basket liner has been reduced from £15 to £10, and for plush playtime fun there's a luxury teddy playmat and arch, which is now £27.50 instead of £55.

The family-friendly brand has also reduced the price of its own brand car seats by up to 50%, with its sport model coming in at £55 instead of £110.

And, if keeping little ones entertained during summer outings is on the agenda, the price of this cute picnic set has been slashed to £14.40, down from £20.

Shoppers are already sharing their bargains online. In a money-saving Facebook group, one consumer wrote: “It’s selling out quickly though! Bagged 4 outfits for £22.”

Another said: “How cute are those Peter Rabbit outfits?”

“Massive sale. I just got a dress for £3 down from £24,” added a third.

Some parents have even admitted to using the sale as an excuse to get their Christmas shopping started early.

However, sale items are selling out fast, with many products already showing up as out of stock online, so shoppers will need to act quickly if they want to grab a bargain.

Delivery for online purchases is free on all UK orders over £50, and costs £3.95 per order for orders under £50. Click and collect to store is also free of charge, you can find your closest Mothercare store in Greater Manchester by using the brand's handy store locator .
