Mother praises Gardai for treatment of 6-year-old son at checkpoint as Elf search rolls on

A mother has praised gardai for their treatment of her 6-year-old son at checkpoint as Elf search rolls on.

Dazzler the elf appears to have gone rogue, and keeps evading gardai despite their best efforts at hunting him down.

Sarahjane Daunt-Smyth Keating Sarah Jane Daunt Smyth Keating posted on Facebook; "Every checkpoint we stop at, my six-year-old son has to question gardai about Dazzler and I have to say fair play to every guard so far, they have been fantastic with him.

"Hopefully he lands in Wexford soon and gets caught by the great gardai down here."

Gardai are appealing for anyone who might have information on the sneaky elf's location to come forward.

Reports suggest Dazzler has taken a little trip South to take in the sights but no sign of him yet.
