'Mother of God!' Line of Duty impersonator has fans in stitches with hilarious video

Comedian Luke Kempner had Line of Duty fans in stitches after sharing a brilliant impressions sketch on social media.

Luke shared the video before Sunday's dramatic episode aired and covered key characters such as Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott, Superintendent Ted Hastings, Detective Inspector Kate Fleming and Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson.

He first appeared dressed as Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott (played by Scots actor Martin Compston) wearing his infamous waistcoat.

Opening the video he said: "Hi my name is DS Steve Arnott, DS stands for... er, not sure there's so many to remember!

"I've got a very important investigation, serious crime is being committed and it's my investigation to find out who, and that is my investigation and this is my waistcoat."

He then morphs into Superintendent Ted Hastings with his well known line....

"Mother of God Steve! Will you stop talking to the camera and address me fella!"

As 'Arnott' and 'Hastings' have a conversation with one another, 'Detective Inspector Kate Fleming' is called in.

"Hi mate!"

And it wasn't long before DCI Jo Davidson was called in and Luke nailed her Scottish accent.

'DCI Jo Davidson' turned up at the interview (Luke Kempner)

"For the DIR I am Davidson and I am Scottish and I am really trying to work out who I am related to."

And many applauded Luke for his amazing impressions.

Line of Duty fans loved Luke's sketch (BBC)

One wrote: "This is so f*****g good"

Another penned: "Mother of God you're good."

While one added: "Great impressions, and you’ve got Steve Arnott’s facial expressions spot on! Brilliant."

And another said: "Brilliant! (And is it a spoiler?!)"
