A mother was left fuming after she tried to make this Christmas one to remember by hiring a Grinch impersonator to call to her home and surprise her children.
However, the woman was caught off guard when the Grinch showed extreme commitment to the role as he wreaked havoc throughout her home.
After paying for the service, which cost €100, the so-called Grinch was expected to arrive and mess with the kids' beds, have a pillow fight and maybe toilet paper the Christmas tree.
But instead, the out of control Christmas character completely trashed the house.
Laura Magill posted about the experience on Facebook, warning other parents not to use the service.
She said the Grinch went above and beyond the level of messing the service provider advertised.
In a post on Facebook, she said: "So, paid £85 for Grinch visit... advertises the Grinch to come in, mess the kids' bed, have pillow fights, put toilet roll around your Christmas tree and pictures at the end."
The mother shared images of the aftermath of the visit, which showed the catering she had provided smeared across her floorboards with raw eggs cracked on the grounds along with copious amounts of washing up liquid.
Ms Magill said: "Versus what I got, every single bit of party food, expensive cupcakes thrown all over the place, tree decorations broke!"

Ms Magill even claimed the green creature poured a drink over her son, saying: "Fairy Liquid poured on my kitchen floor, eggs smashed a full bottle of juice poured over my floor and SON!
"Kid's new onesie ruined.
"Highly DO NOT recommend, emailed and complained no reply. The Grinch definitely came and stole Christmas. Never been so disgusted in my life!"
Ms Magill didn't name the company but did say she had contacted them about the issue and hadn't received a reply.
The post soon went viral as people expressed their shock at the report, with some admitting that the whole ordeal left them in stitches.

One Twitter user screenshotted the post and shared it on Twitter.
One person commented: "I need to know what grown man showed up and TRASHED this house I'm dying."
Another joked: "I would argue that in fact: the Grinch was incredibly professional & did their job perfectly?"
A third admitted: "I am lying in bed genuinely weeping over this and I first saw it like 2 hours ago every time I go back to it it gets better I am actually hysterical."
