Mother India's Cafe announces reopening date

One of Glasgow's favourite Indian restaurants will return this month after weeks of closure on account of the coronavirus crisis.

Last night, the team behind Mother India's Cafe and Mother India's Cafe at the Landsdowne announced they will reopen at the end of July.

Both venues, on Argyle Street and Landsdowne Crescent, will welcome in customers once more on July 30.

A statement put out on Twitter yesterday evening confirmed: "Good afternoon folks, hope everyone’s well and keeping safe.

"Just a quick update on our restaurants. We will be opening the cafe and The Lansdowne on the 30th July, fingers crossed, with reduced capacity."

Over recent weeks, Mother India - The Den has been providing a 'dine in' at home delivery service, with a range of incredible Indian dishes available to devoured at home including the famous Chicken Tikka and Lamb Boona.

Meanwhile, Mother India Cafe's takeaway menu is offering the likes of Chilli Garlic Chicken and Chicken Tikka Chasni.
