A Blantyre mother and daughter duo took social media by storm this week with a hilarious TikTok video.
Like most of us, Taylor Kennedy and Andrea Fulston are dreaming of the day they can board a plane to sunnier climes with friends and family and put lockdown far behind them.
So this fun-loving pair took their time indoors to a whole other level by re-enacting a full check-in scene at the airport, and more.
Their hilarious video includes mum Andrea as the holiday-maker packing her suitcase, and going through airport security, whilst Taylor acts as the security officer, check-in staff and air hostess – before finally joining her mum to enjoy a cocktail when they arrive at their destination of Ibiza. Well, their Blantyre backyard at least!
Taylor then uploaded the TikTok video to social media platforms and had hundreds of views, likes, shares and comments with people praising the pair for making them laugh.
Student Taylor, 20, explained: “Quarantine has got us going crazy and we can only dream about a holiday just now so we created a wee fun video to make people smile a little.
“We were actually supposed to fly to Ibiza during the Easter holidays but obviously due to Covid-19 it got cancelled. So we thought why not bring the holiday to us.
“It was just a bit of fun and passed some of our time in lockdown.”
