The "most precious" gifts were delivered on Christmas Day, giving families and health staff more festive joy during another COVID-hit year.
Among those welcoming newborn babies were Anson Ivan and Steffy Anson at the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children.
Their newborn, their first son, arrived about 6am and weighed in at 2.66 kilograms.
He is yet to be named with his parents saying "we are still finalising a few names as it's a special Christmas gift".
"It is very special for us, for our parents and for our extended family as he's born on a Christmas Day," Mr Ivan said.
"This is an absolute surprise as the expected date was on January 6, but he was born on an unexpected date.
"We informed our families as they were getting ready for Christmas morning mass at church."

Ms Anson said their son had brought joy during a difficult past 18 to 24 months because of COVID.
"We definitely had few ups and downs due to the uncertainty of increasing cases of COVID, but fortunately we were able sail smoothly," she said.
The parents had to change their Christmas plans but were both "feeling very excited" and a little bit tired.

In a statement, Canberra Health Services said they had more than five babies born before lunchtime on Christmas.
"There was plenty of miracles happening in our birth suites this morning," the statement read.
"First-time parents Steffy and Anson got the surprise of their life.
"Feeling excited and tired, they can't wait to celebrate this special day with him each year."
Another celebrating life was Omar Abujarbou, who was also born about 6am and weighing in at 3.45 kilograms.

He has an older brother, Hamza, who the hospital said was "very excited to meet him".
The hospital said Omar "held on tight for an extra week to give proud mum Azza the most precious gift of all".
"Omar is little brother to two-year-old Hamza, who can't wait to meet him," the hospital said.
