Reflecting on an ‘extraordinary’ year for the housing market, Purplebricks has revealed Merseyside's most popular postcodes and house hunter searches.
Data from the past year up until November 30, has revealed that the most popular postcodes/areas searched for across Liverpool were:
West Kirby, Wirral
Bootle, Sefton
St Helens
Childwall
L19 (Garston)
The most popular search prices in Merseyside over the past year have been for houses worth between £150,000 and £250,000 with three to four bedrooms.
Lee Reynolds, Area Director for Purplebricks in Liverpool said: "We've found the South of Liverpool has become increasingly popular, due to it being sought after in general but also its convenience in terms of commuting.
"We're finding that people have been looking to move, often for more room because they have adapted to working from home.
"Therefore houses with scope to do so, or with potential to convert a garage or room into an office, are proving popular.
"We're finding that properties set at the correct price aren't taking any longer than a week to sell, if that, arguably sooner if we weren't ensuring we get our sellers the best price possible with the most amount of interest."
Current homes for sale on Purplebricks that fit the most popular search postcodes and specifications include a two bedroom terrace house on Meredith Street and a three bedroom semi in Bootle.

On Linacre Lane, in Bootle, the three bedroom semi-detached benefits from a large garden with a patio and lawn area.

Two of the three bedrooms are double bedrooms, while a children’s bedroom and could also be utilised as a study/home office.
The property is on the market with Purplebricks for offers over £130,000.
