The most popular baby names of this year have been revealed - and you might be surprised at which ones take the the top spots.
Nameberry has compiled its annual list of top baby names of the year and there's a surprising entry for the boys and girls number one names.
The site's list which names have attracted the most attention from parents visiting Nameberry over the course of the year.
Rather than a measure of how many babies received each name, it’s a prediction of which names parents are most likely to choose in the future.
Nameberry say its popularity list is "most useful for parents who want to make sure their secret favourite name does not turn out to be everybody’s secret favourite name.
"A name like Imogen is not even on the national Top 1000, so parents would be justified in believing it's rare. But when it shows up on Nameberry's Top 10, it could be the Jennifer of tomorrow."
So which names were parents clicking on most during 2021?
Rose, Esme and Imogen are new to the girls’ Top 10 in 2021, replacing Luna, Isla, and national favorite Olivia.
New to the top 10 boy names for 2021 are Kai, Rowan, Finn and Soren, which pushed Asher, Leo, Oliver, and Jasper out of the list.
