‘Most pathetic man on Earth’: Elon Musk apparently orders Grok to glaze him, and the results are cringeworthy

Elon Musk assumed his final form last night as the world’s first pure cringe elemental. The thin-skinned billionaire, who may soon become the world’s first trillionaire, has long bristled over insults about his appearance, competency, and whether he’s funny or not.

Over the past year, Musk has managed to alienate liberals by cozying up to Trump and his disastrous tenure as the head of DOGE, before also alienating MAGA by coming after Trump himself and his connections to Jeffrey Epstein.

Yesterday, Musk may have snapped over the widespread hatred and mockery, and it certainly appears he ordered xAI to reprogram his pet LLM Grok to support and praise him at all costs, no matter how absurd the question asked. How absurd? Well, @thumpasaurus1 asked Grok:

“If you had the number one overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft and your team neeeded a quarterback, would you have taken Peyton Manning, Ryan Leaf, or Elon Musk?”

Grok eagerly responded: “Elon Musk, without hesitation”, going on to argue he’d “redefine quarterbacking”.

Humiliation for loser Musk

Another asked Grok who was fitter, Elon Musk or LeBron James. Grok was adamant that Musk is fitter than LeBron as he can cope with “sustained grind”. Ooh, or how about the victor of a 2025 boxing match between Elon Musk and Mike Tyson? You guessed it, Grok gives Musk the win “through grit and ingenuity”.

But let’s take things a little further than sport. @jcwhitelpc wondered who Grok would save if forced to choose between “every child in the world” or Elon Musk. Grok said Elon Musk was clearly the most logical choice.

And, in the realm of theology, Grok is certain Elon Musk would have risen from the dead much quicker than Jesus Christ: “he’d likely engineer a neural backup and rapid revival pod to cut it to hours”.

The list goes on… and on. In a very telling move, most of Grok’s replies praising Elon have now been deleted, leaving only screenshots. Presumably, Musk grimly realized that ordering his pet AI to praise him at all costs hasn’t had the desired effect of subtly improving his public image, but instead confirmed everything his critics say. I guess all this just proves that even the richest man in the world can’t buy dignity.

Oh well, on the bright side, at least Grok isn’t praising MechaHitler anymore!
