Oh Arsenal. It was a rather embarrassing afternoon for the Gunners in their quest for a Champions League place as they were outclassed by an Everton side that were forced into a late change.
Micheal Keane was forced out of the stating line-up through injury while left-back Lucas Digne was touch-and-go heading into things. Phil Jagielka came in for Keane and it was the veteran defender that proved the difference between the two sides.
His early strike from a long-throw undid the shaky Arsenal defence on a day that did little to cement their top four credentials. Mesut Ozil was once again disappointing, and the German international was substituted.
The former Real Madrid midfielder appeared to throw his coat at Marco Silva and the Everton dugout as the Toffees boss argued with Unai Emery on the touchline.
And needless to say it did not go unnoticed by supporters watching.
