One in five Brits STRIP OFF when watching TV programmes set in sunnier climates, according to research.
A survey of 2,000 adults found two thirds of Love Island watchers partially disrobe to ‘get in the mood’ for the saucy show.
Three quarters of Love Island fans even said they’ve watched at least one episode completely in the nude.
More than one in four (27 per cent) have also been made hot under the collar by an episode of Baywatch, resulting in clothes coming off.
Research, commissioned by energy company Utilita, revealed other shows to have the same impact include Bridgerton (23 per cent), Selling Sunset (21 per cent) and Below Deck (20 per cent).
A Utilita spokesperson said: “We’re all guilty of choosing heating over wearing something more weather-appropriate, but it seems what’s on the TV is having a big impact, too.”
