'Most Leeds thing ever' - Chelsea loanee Izzy Brown's Luton form leaves fans stunned

Chelsea youngster Izzy Brown is enjoying a successful loan spell at Championship club Luton Town.

The 22-year-old has made just one first team appearance for Chelsea so far in his career, and has spent the majority of his short career away from Stamford Bridge on loan deals.

The latest has seen him a Kenilworth Road with the newly promoted Hatters, where he has registered a league high five assists, including three in his last three matches.

However, the attacker has not always found success when on loan.

The 2018/19 season saw the Chelsea man sign a temporary deal with Leeds United, but the player made just two appearances for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

A nine minute cameo in the Championship was followed by a two minute appearance in the second leg of the play-off semi-final defeat against Derby County, who were then managed by Chelsea boss Frank Lampard.

Brown struggled with injuries throughout the season, and fell down the pecking order at Ellend Road.

He would have been forgiven for returning to Stamford Bridge in the summer with his head down, but his form so far in the same league this season shows that this wasn't the case.

The Chelsea man's performances for the Hatters has now caught the eyes of onlooking Leeds fans, with some wondering what could have been.

Brown will return to Stamford Bridge again in the sumer, where he will be hoping that he becomes the latest young player to get a chance under Frank Lampard.
